Allen A. McCampbell, Jr. Allen McCampbell, Jr. served in several executive management positions in his 33 years with American General Life and Accident Insurance Company. His last position with American General Life and Accident Insurance was Senior Vice President. American General Corporation is noted for growth by acquisition. Mr. McCampbell was involved with nine acquisitions and consolidations during his career at American General.

Mr. McCampbell has served in multiple roles:

• Presidency of the Junior Achievement Board of Middle Tennessee
• Past President of the College of Business Administration Foundation at TTU.
• Louis Johnson Outstanding Business Alumnus Award in 1984 and the Outstanding Alumnus in 1999.
• Established the Jess Mallory Scholarship Endowment in honor of this father-in-law.
• President Bell appointed Allen to the University Foundation Board in 2002.
