Another (incorrect) Architect Planting Diagram

Answers:

	First of all, the hole is dug too deep and with loose soil below the root mass.
	The hole is not as wide as we would recommend.
	The trunk flare is shown below soil grade.

	Mulch or backfill is shown up or onto the trunk of the tree.
	The guy wires are shown strung too tightly to allow some trunk sway.

	This diagram does indicate proper backfilling: to fill the hole 2/3 full before the first tamping and watering.
	Let it settle before final backfilling and watering.
