"Three southern traditions are celebrated at the annual RC and Moon Pie Festival: RC Colas, Moon Pies and historic Bell Buckle, Tennessee. Originating eleven years ago, the festival includes art and craft exhibits; food booths featuring southern fares like Tennessee smoked barbecue, hand-squeezed lemonade, and deep-fried Moon Pies; and the crowning of the RC-Moon Pie King and Queen. Cloggers and country/bluegrass bands provide the entertainment while participants indulge in games and contests including the Moon Pie toss, RC dash, Moon Pie hoops, watermelon seed-spitting contest, water balloon toss, and a contest to determine which family traveled the farthest."
