  • Bethsalem Community Chapel

    "The Bethsalem Presbyterian Church was officially constituted in 1816 and located on Knob Creek Road.  This building, which served as both school and church, burned not long after.  In 1890, a new building was erected in Wartrace.  The building was dedicated on May 25, 1890.  In 1993, a nonprofit group bought the church."

"This inn is on the National Register of Historic Places and features the Victorian Painted Lady, antiques and period reproductions."

"This store has been in business since the early 1900s and made the first three World Champion Walking Horse saddles.  The company is also known for making the bridle that was on the pony that Bonnie Blue Butler rode in the movie Gone With the Wind.  This building was also the location of one of the town's first banks.  Local industries centered around the development of the famous Tennessee Walking Horse."
