  1. The deadline for Early registration is March 8, 2019. After this date, the Full registration is $80.00 per attendee.
  2. A Guest registration is $45.00 and only includes meals.

This year's conference will be hosted at Montgomery Bell State Park. If you plan to attend and wish to stay at the park, you should make hotel/cabin accommodations immediately. Rooms have been blocked off for the Symposium attendees until Friday, March 29, 2019. Rates range from $80-$245/night plus tax for rooms in the inn, suites, and cabins.

  • Reserve your room online and use Group Code #9259.

NOTE: When you reserve your room, they will charge the first night as a deposit.  
For a full refund, you must cancel at least 48 hours prior to arrival. Otherwise, you forfeit your deposit.


Conference Rate: $90
There are rooms with two double beds or king. Standard rooms have a full bath and private balcony overlooking the lake. Standard amentities include cable TV, coffee maker and hairdryer.
Conference Rate: $245
Includes a comfortable sitting area with efficiency kitchen, full bath and sleeper sofa and the standard amentities. It may be combined with adjacent rooms to create a suite.
Conference Rate: $390
The villas have two bedrooms and two full baths. These cabins come with a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, full refrigerator, toaster and coffee maker. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom is equipped with two queen size beds. The great room also has a queen sofa sleeper for additional sleeping capacity. Both bedrooms and great room have a flat screen TV. Each cabin has a large covered patio with an outdoor fireplace and gas grill. The indoor and outdoor (seasonal) swimming pools at the Inn are available to Inn and cabin guests.
Rates: $15-$35
Open year-round, the campground provides 20, 30 and 50 amp electric service and can accommodate 60 ft. campers on most electrical sites. There are 47 sites equipped with water and electric, 40 sites with onsite sewer and can accommodate pop-up campers to the largest RVs and 22 tent only campsites. There are two pull-through campsites accessible to persons with a disability. There are three bathhouses located in the campground. Two sites are accessible to persons with a disability. Picnic tables, trash cans and grills are available at campsites. Pets are welcome at the campground, but not in any inside buildings, rentals, pavilions, beach or plaground areas. Please note, campsites may contain only one of the following combinations:
  • one motorhome, (fifth-wheel, travel trailer or pop-up, etc.) plus one tent, or
  • two tents only

We have also reserved a small block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dickson near the park. These rooms will be blocked off for Symposium attendees until Sunday, March 24, 2019. The rate here is $100/night plus tax for a guest room (either 2 Queens or 1 King).

If you would like to make reservations with the Hotel directly, call the hotel at 615-446-2781 and tell the Desk Clerk that they are booking for the Tennessee Tech THEITS. The Clerk will then ask them all the pertinent information.

If you would like to call the 1-800-HOLIDAY number (1-800-465-4329), then when they are connected to an Operator, they would tell them that they are booking for a Group and that the Group Code is TTC. Then the Operator will get all the pertinent information.

Make sure you mention the group code TTC or Tennessee Tech THEITS to get the discounted price when booking.


We have also reserved a small block of rooms at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriot (615-560-1531).

These rooms will be blocked off for Symposium attendees until Monday, April 1, 2019. The rate here is $94/night plus tax for a basic guest room.

Formerly known as The EDP (Electronic Data Processing) Symposium, the Tennessee Higher Education Information Technology Symposium (ITS) is an annual event open to higher-education professionals in Tennessee. It is an informal forum in which participants can present and gather information related to the technological needs of higher education institutions. Attendees include:

  • • Information Technology professionals at higher education institutions
  • • Faculty members integrating technology into instruction
  • • Staff providing support for critical administrative tasks of higher education institutions

To register for a vendor display table at the Information Technology Symposium please complete the online registration. The vendor registration form and payment deadline is April 8, 2019.

This year’s symposium has 32 vendor spaces available. All sponsors will be recognized in the Conference program, announced from the podium and in the electronic announcements display. The vendor spaces are located in the following rooms. Specific table locations and what is currently available can be seen on the provided floor plan layout. We try to keep these up-to-date, but if a table is not available when purchasing tickets, it has been sold.

  • Vendor Layout
    * Table placement is subject to change depending on conditions at the venue. Every effort will be made to accommodate vendor's selected location.
  • Gold Sponsor - $1400
    Silver Sponsor - $800

Please note that each vendor space will contain one 8’ table. There is insufficient space for stand-alone displays. We do recommend vendors use a 8' logo tablecloth.

Each vendor representative attending must register. Vendor attendee registrations are $80.00. This fee includes meal tickets.

Vendor Table Assignments: Once payment is received, each vendor will receive notification of the designated table location. Spaces will not be assigned, or considered final, until payment is received.

Additional Sponsorship Opportunities: To support vendor requests for additional special event sponsorship opportunities the following options are now available to all registered vendor sponsors on a first come first serve basis. Each sponsor of special event will be recognized from podium and included in special section of the program and on the electronic display.

  1. “Cook-In Sponsor” on Sunday night at $2500 and will allow vendor to place information on tables, hang banner in the room and have a display table in the lobby by the cook in site.

  2. There are two "Breakfast Sponsorship" opportunities for Monday and Tuesday morning at $1500 and will allow vendor to place Sponsor information on table, hang banner at entrance to dining room.

  3. There are two “Lunch Sponsorship” opportunities on Monday and Tuesday at $1500 and will allow vendor to place Sponsor information on table, hang banner at entrance to dining room.

  4. There are three “Break Sponsorship” opportunities: Monday morning, Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning at $400 will allow signage on table, vendor can hang banner in area.

  5. "Monday Night Banquet" at $2500 and will allow vendor to place information on tables, hang banner in the room and have a display table in the lobby by the banquet site.

Vendors are encouraged to provide Bingo prizes with logo or other items as appropriate. All vendors supporting the Bingo event will also be recognized. Vendors are also encouraged to sponsor card drawing give-a-ways that will be presented during the Banquet or at the Annual Business meeting.

Vendors will be listed in the conference packet. Any vendors providing door prizes will also be recognized in the packet. Attendee lists will be available to vendors.

Vendor Set up will open Sunday, April 14 from 2pm-5pm. If you have questions, please go to the conference registration desk and they can help you.

Internet Access: Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi is available in all hotel rooms and the conference area, which is included in the conference reservation.

Equipment Security: It will be the responsibility of each vendor to protect his or her own equipment from loss or damage.
