Schematic View Tool: This tool changes the display of objects and circuits in the simulation window to Schematic View.
Occasionally, the wire-drawing algorithm gets confused and draws wires as diagonal rather than rectangular lines. Although a smarter algorithm could draw wires correctly under every circumstance, it would slow down the simulator. Instead , CPU chose to have a fast simulator and a schematic view that was usually accurate. Consult the help pages of individual elements to see how they are represented in Schematic View. By default, objects in Schematic View are located on a grid. When you move or place an object, the object snaps to a grid location automatically. You can turn off (on) the snap to grid property in the background properties. Only Schematic View displays bulb brightnesses and current numbers. You can only use the compass in Schematic View. Note: Graphics objects drawn or placed (using the Graphics Palette) in Schematic View do not appear in Realistic View. The reverse is also true. |
