Oval (Ellipse) Tool: Click and drag to draw a oval of any size. To draw a circle, hold down the shift key while you draw the shape. In the oval's Properties Box, you can change its color (black is default), choose to show the oval's border only (default is to draw filled shapes), or lock the position of the oval.

Placing a oval on top of another object connects the oval to that object.
