Details
To capture this image, we used a Celestron C8 with a Celestron f/6.3 flattener. The camera used was a ZWO ASI 294MC. We used a dual narrow-band filter to capture less of the background, focusing primarily on the nebula itself. We used a guide camera and Ekos to locate and image the nebula, as well.
This image was processed entirely in SiriL, no other software was used. It was pre-processed, stacked, and then split into the three color channels. The red channel represents Ha, and the green channel represents Oiii. These images, which can be considered split by element, were recombined using pixel math to get a sort of Hubble palette image, which was then post-processed and finalized.
