The constellation I choose to do for this assignment was Lacerta; it represents a lizard was named in 1687 by Johannes Hevelius. Originally, he named it Stellio (the stellion) after a lizard with star-shaped spots that is found in Mediterranean coastal regions. It is sometimes referred to as ‘Little Cassiopeia’ because its brightest stars form the same ‘W’ shape as Cassiopeia.
