Environmental Social Issues & Education

Certain populations may be more at risk from environmental hazards than others because of socioeconomic conditions. These environmental social issues are analyzed by Center researchers in an effort to provide environmental justice. The Center's faculty and associates are also involved in projects to educate the general public on issues of concern relating to the environment or the sciences.

The following are projects related to environmental social issues and education that were activated in the 2006-2007 fiscal year. For descriptions of specific projects, click on those with links.
