STUDY ABROAD

Study Abroad scholarships are available to help defray the costs of travel and insurance for students participating in TTU-approved programs.

Costs for reciprocal exchanges through ISEP, the Magellan Exchange, and the Brazil program are set by TTU based on the usual academic fees. ISEP programs also include room and board costs. Payment is made directly to TTU. Transportation, insurance, books, and incidental expenses are the only additional costs.

The Mid-Continent Consortium for International Education offers short-term intensive language summer programs in Mexico, Spain, and Quebec, Canada.

Most forms of financial aid can be applied to study abroad programs. Tennessee Tech now offers scholarships to students who have been selected to participate in approved study abroad programs through the University. Scholarships recipients are eligible to receive allowances for round-trip transportation and mandatory insurance costs while abroad.

For more information about approved study abroad programs, contact the the Office of International Student Affairs, Room 103 Derryberry Hall, phone 931-372-3634. Non-Affiliate exchanges may also be pursued. There is a course sequence to register for these international student exchanges similar to Co-op. See STUDY ABROAD in the course description section.
