GENERAL CURRICULUM

Edith Duvier, Director

The goal of the General Curriculum program is to assist students in making decisions on an academic major by providing career explorations with academic support, guidance, and referral to appropriate offices when needed. The curriculum is recommended for entering freshmen students who do not have a clear choice of a major field of study. It is designed to encompass one academic year, but may be transferred from at the end of any semester upon the request of the student and consent of his or her advisor. After General Curriculum students earn 60 semester hours, they must declare a major.
