Web Quests

A Web Quest is a teacher directed form of instruction using the internet.  A Web Quest is best used in a course where a significant amount of the instructional information is located on web sites.

Criteria for Web Quests on TN-FACS-ER web site

  1. Web Quest must address the subject matter in an approved TN FACS course.
  2. Web Quest must be related to a course standard(s).
  3. After the course and standard(s) are identified, pose related question(s) clearly and precisely.
  4. Preselects a minimum of three web sites that provide information related to the answers to the questions(s).
  5. Provide directions for the student exploration and evaluation of the web sites, such as individual or team work; bullet or narrative evaluation of the site; and form of submission of work, i.e., on line, paper, or oral presentation.
  6. Submit the Web Quest to the site manager.
