QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related area.
Expertise in the area of telecommunications.
Ability for excellent teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
High potential to develop externally funded research program.
Effective communication skills.
Preferred: Some relevant teaching/industrial experience.
ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Electrical Engineering with emphasis
in telecommunications.
Develop externally funded research programs.
Direct graduate students at the M.S. and Ph.D. levels. Serve on
committees at the departmental and/or university level.
Engage in professional and public service.
Advise students on academic curricula, professionalism, and career
opportunities.
SALARY:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
