ASSISTANT PROFESSOR – Department of Counseling and Psychology

Full-time, tenure-track, nine-month appointment to begin August 1, 2003.

QUALIFICATIONS: An earned doctorate in Counseling or related field from CACREP approved institution required. LPC licensed or license eligible. Experience in school counseling; documented competency in instruction, and documented commitment to diversity required. The ideal candidate will provide evidence of commitment to teaching and research. Proven human relations skills essential. Prior university teaching experience preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Primary emphasis on teaching graduate courses in counseling, engaging in research, advising graduate students, supervising school counseling interns, and supervision of student research. Involvement in college, community, and professional organizations.

SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience.
