FOOTBALL LINE COACH LEVEL 1 - Department of Athletics

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required.
Master's degree preferred. Four
years collegiate coaching experience preferred. Knowledge of NCAA rules and
regulations and outside recruiting experience required.
Familiarity with I-AA football, OVC and southeast area preferred. Game day pressbox and sideline organizational duties on
collegiate level preferred. Ability
to communicate effectively and interact successfully with staff and players.
ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS: Duties will include recruitment of qualified student-athletes, on field
coaching, assistance with non-season programs, and other duties as assigned by
the head football coach. The
position also includes teaching responsibilities in the Department of Health and
Physical Education.
SALARY
AND BENEFITS: Commensurate with experience. Benefits include the accumulation of two vacation days
per month and one sick leave day per month, and thirteen (13) University
holidays. Other benefits include medical and life insurance (shared cost with
the university), retirement, optional 401k and educational benefits.
