ASSISTANT DIRECTOR for CORPORATE/FOUNDATION RELATIONS – University Development

QUALIFICATIONS: Required: bachelor’s degree, corporate and foundation or related experience, exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to interact effectively with all university constituencies, ability and willingness to travel extensively, computer proficiency.  Preferred: prior experience in nonprofit fundraising, especially higher education; prior experience in grant and proposal writing; knowledge of and prior experience within Tennessee Tech.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Manages all fund-raising activities pertaining to the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of corporate and foundation clients under the supervision of the Director of Planned Giving and Corporate/Foundation Relations.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:  Salary commensurate with qualifications.  Benefits include the accumulation of two vacation days per month and one sick leave day per month, and thirteen (13) University holidays. Other benefits include medical and life insurance (shared cost with the university), retirement, optional 401k and educational benefits.
