Last month, Josie McQuail, professor of English, presented a paper entitled "Scriptotherapy in Maya Angelou's I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings and Toni Morrison's The Bluest Eye" at the Fifth Annual Women's International Conference at Temple University in Philadelphia. The theme of the conference was "Women, Health and Healing."
