There's a new director crafting and overseeing the university's web presence as the Office of Public Affairs welcomes Matthew Gann this week as the new Web and Digital Media Director.
Gann most recently served as vice president of marketing and promotions for Wellness Healthcare LLC in Cookeville. In that role, he directed the development of company web sites, advertising and publications. He also helped launch new companies and marketing campaigns and assisted in creating identity plans for all brands.
His experience includes three years as director of design and development at N2 The Net and several years as an independent contractor. His independent projects included managing web design for real estate firms in Tennessee, California, Georgia, New York and Florida, and managing vertical portals for extreme sports.
Gann holds a bachelor's degree in business management with a concentration in management information systems from Tech.
As web director, Gann will develop, design, coordinate and manage our web sites to support our missions and marketing goals. His responsibility is to work closely with the ITS department and serve as liaison with the technical staff. He will also cooperate with various campus units to develop new and innovative uses of the TTU web site, and participate in the development and planning of TTU's overall marketing strategy. |
