Applying for Scholarships for Fall 2009 on August 15, 2008.

New
Students (High School Seniors and Transfer Students):
- Admission application
by December 15, 2008
- Scholarship application
by December 15, 2008
- Departmental
questionnaire for Agriculture, Chemistry/Health Sciences, Computer
Science, Engineering, Human Ecology, History, Music, and Physics
majors by January 15, 2009.
* Any additional
documents such as letters of recommendation, portfolios, resumes,
etc. that may be required by individual scholarship criteria.
Since
many scholarships require an awarding unit to evaluate your academic
record (including GPA and ACT/SAT scores), you should request submission
of your high school/community college transcripts and test scores
as early as possible to ensure they arrive at our Office of Admissions
by the December 15 deadline.

Any additional

* Departments
requiring questionnaires are Agriculture, Biology, Business Administration, Chemistry/
Health Sciences, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science,
Electrical and Computer Engineering, History, Human Ecology, Industrial
and Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Music, Nursing,
and Physics.
Granting
departments will review the scholarship material and make their
selections by March 15. If you are selected as
a scholarship recipient, you should receive notification soon after
March 15.
If you are
receiving an endowed scholarship, we request that you send a personal
thank you letter to the sponsor of the scholarship by September
30. The name and address of the sponsor will be provided
by the granting department. Copies of the thank you letter should
also be provided to the Scholarship Manager. |
