"Educate Yourself To Safety"

New Residental Hall

Tennessee Tech is one of the safest schools in the south, and there is a good reason why. Dedicated hall staff and police officers that have the proper education have always put their best foot forward in the name of prevention. Now we want to share that education with your children!

Encourage your son or daughter to attend some of the FREE programs below. This is a great opportunity that could save their life (or someone else’s) down the road.

Each program is held in the Fitness Center Multipurpose Room at 6:30 PM. You do no have to register, just show up! Following each program, there will be an informal discussion with refreshments. What’s to lose?
Feb. 12 - Traffic Safety with Paramedic Brandon Smith, Putnam Co. EMS
Feb. 19 - Crime Prevention with Chief Gay Shepherd, TTU Police Dept.
Feb. 26 - Drugs and Alcohol with Dr. Sullivan Smith, CRMC
March 5 - Fire Safety with Lt. Bruce Womack, Cookeville Fire Department
