| Special Event Icons on the TTU Web Page
Up to two special event icons can appear in the lower-middle
right of TTU’s homepage at any give time. Organizations requesting
a special event icon to publicize a program they are sponsoring
should observe the following guidelines:
- A URL address for a web site corresponding to the event being
publicized must be provided at the time of the request.
- The date(s), times and location of the event must also be provided.
- Special event icons will be granted on a first come, first served
basis.
- The sponsoring group may request the specific dates during which
the icon is to appear on the home page, but emergency or extenuating
circumstances may shorten the duration during which the icon actually
appears.
- If more than two organizations request a special event icon
at any given time, then the rotation will be determined by the
dates of the events, with the more timely events receiving priority.
- Acceptable icons are limited to events directly relating to
university-sponsored activities, academics and research. Icons
for events open to only select groups will NOT be allowed on the
home page.
- Additional restrictions may apply depending on the circumstances
of the event.
