Tenn. (April 26, 2007) — Welcoming more than 6,000 Putnam County school
children and their families to the annual Festival of Movement held recently
at Tennessee Tech University’s Hooper Eblen Center are, from left
in the photo above, President Bob Bell; Darrell Garber, dean of the College
of Education; and Pat Jordan, director of the Exercise Science, Physical
Education and Wellness program at the university. In the photo below, Danielle
Hayes, a first-grader at Capshaw Elementary, was only one of the many students
in grades K-4, representing all Putnam County schools, who participated
in the event by running, jumping, twirling ribbons and other activities
