COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (May 11, 2007) – A Putnam County 5-12 grades
juried art exhibit runs through Wednesday, May 16, in Tennessee Tech University’s
Joan Derryberry Art Gallery.
A reception to honor the participants of the exhibit and award winners
is set for 4:30 p.m. on Monday, May 14. The public is invited to attend.
Schools whose students are participating in the exhibit include Cornerstone
Middle School, Prescott Central Middle School, Avery Trace Middle School,
Burks Middle School, Algood School grades 5-8, Monterey High School and
Cookeville High School.
The Derryberry Gallery is located on the first floor of TTU’s Roaden
University Center and is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
on Monday through Friday.
