Intel's Zurn to speak at 2004 Mayberry Lecture |

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 27, 2004) – A senior executive from Intel
Corp., James T. Zurn, will deliver the 2004 Fall Mayberry Lecture sponsored
by Tennessee Tech University’s College of Business Administration
on Thursday, Nov. 4, from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. in Johnson Hall Auditorium The lecture will be free and open to the public. Zurn’s speech will be titled “Only the Paranoid Survive –
Intel’s Leadership in an Ever-changing Environment.” Zurn is the senior manager of Corporate Operational Excellence for Intel
Corp. He has more than 27 years of experience in quality and design engineering
with Intel, Storage Technology, Xerox, AT&T, and Fujitsu Ltd. He has
also served as a senior examiner for the Baldrige Award, U.S. Army’s
Centurion Quality Award and as the presiding judge for the U.S. Air Force’s
Quality Award program. This event is part of the lecture series sponsored by the Mayberry Chair
of Excellence in TTU’s College of Business Administration.
