David Rhyne, TTU's newly appointed Director of Choruses and an accomplished

by Giovanni Gabrieli and Praise the Lord with Drums and Cymbals by Siegfried
Karg-Elert.
Other pieces to be performed at the evening's event will include a new
work from TTU trombone professor Joshua Hauser and the 1989 composition
of Seasons by John Stevens, tuba professor at the University of Wisconsin.
"This program should appeal to all who enjoy listening to the stirring
sounds of brass instruments and the magnificent sound of the organ,”
said Charles Decker, coordinator of the Brass Arts Quintet. "The
final two numbers on the program are truly spectacular and will be a concert
experience to remember."
The quintet recently released its latest compact disc recording entitled
Shazam! They have also appeared in concert specials on national and public
broadcast television stations. Members of the Brass Arts Quintet are Charles
Decker and Chris McCormick, trumpets; Greg Danner, horn; Joshua Hauser,
