Photography Exhibit Now Showing, New Classes Starting June 9
Stop by Henderson Hall and feast your eyes on the latest photography exhibit, compliments of Wayne Sadler’s most recent The Art of Seeing and Creative Photography class. The exhibit, located in the hallway outside of Extended Programs and Regional Development and the School of Interdisciplinary Studies, features visually creative images intended to delight and intrigue the viewer. Assignments included linking images to traditional haiku poetry and the reverse; students creating haiku poems to reflect the essence of the images. Photos range from explorations in still life to the abstract, attracting viewers to contemplate the ordinary from unique and sometimes surreal perspectives.
The Art of Seeing Creatively, a new class for children and youth with a serious interest in art, is open now for summer registration. The course will meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, June 9 – 13, from 5-6:30 p.m. The cost is $35. For more information, call Extended Programs and Regional Development at (931) 372-3304 or nposton@tntech.edu.
