TTU radio ads set to air in Nashville

A multi-media approach will be used to encourage prospective students to inquire about Tennessee Tech University during the National College Fair set to take place in Nashville on May 6.

The mix includes print ads in a special tabloid insert about the fair in The Tennessean and radio spots on WRVR, the River, the #1 rated radio station with 12- to-17-year-olds in the Nashville area.

“We'll be buying standard 60-second spots plus traffic and weather sponsorships during the three days leading up to the fair,” explains TTU Marketing Director Alisa Frazier.

Cookeville-based Clear Channel Communications is producing the ads which will feature the voices of current TTU students – most of whom also serve as DJs on the university's campus radio station, WTTU-FM.
