As a contribution to TTU’s Pride Days’ efforts, Lamar Outdoor graciously donated the space for two TTU Pride billboards in Cookeville. One is located along Lowe Avenue; the other is on Willow Avenue near Interstate 40.
In addition, the company has offered to provide TTU with a billboard on I-40 at no charge whenever the space is available. When the space on I-40 is in use, Lamar has offered to display the university’s message on a board along another high traffic road, Highway 111.
To take advantage of the opportunity, the university will only be responsible for the cost of producing the vinyl, which is minimal.
“I learned about what TTU had to offer and decided to attend the school based on a billboard I saw as a teenager,” says Brad Smith, Lamar account executive. “And now as a TTU alumnus, I understand how important this type of exposure is to the university.”s a new form of campus-wide communication.
