Chamber projects enhance TTU's visibility in the community, beyond

Partnering with the Putnam County Chamber has again served to enhance TTU’s visibility with members of the community and visitors to the region.

First, the chamber produced a series of postcards including one featuring the university. In full color sporting our new logo, tagline, and photos of a Golden Eagles’ basketball game, the Bryan Symphony Orchestra and the TTU marching band, the card will give visitors to the region a taste of what the university has to offer.

Now a new chamber publication aimed at tourism will have a TTU page dedicated to providing information about events and activities visitors can enjoy on campus.

The page will include a schedule of featured items such as plays, musical performances, art exhibits, special events and sports contests.

The new publication is being developed by the chamber’s director of Tourist Development, Marci Cisneros, and will be produced four times a year. The first issue, which is being compiled now for distribution in late January, will feature campus events taking place from January through April.

Those with events to publicize in this issue are encouraged to contact Alisa Frazier at 6525 or afrazier@tntech.edu as soon as possible.
