The telephone is a vital part of campus communications, but it can sometimes hamper them. Unlike face-to-face conversations where gestures, facial expressions and body language can help make a positive impact, on the phone speakers must rely solely on their vocal skills.
Remember, for some the voice on the other end of the phone is their first impression of the university. Make sure they leave with a good one.
