| Mechanical Engineering Strategic Goals
The M.E. Department utilizes a series of Strategic Goals for purposes of continual improvement of the department and its programs. Strategic Goals are selected in keeping with the Mission Statement of the Department, the University Strategic Goals, and the SACS & ABET accreditation principles and requirements. The time frame for the accomplishment of a strategic goal is typically one to five years, but this may vary as the situation requires. Strategic goals are reviewed and updated by the M.E. Goals & Assessments Committee on a yearly basis, with input from the M.E. faculty and chairperson.
