The strategic planning and assessment process utilized by the Mechanical Engineering Department is closely integrated with and guided by the University and Departmental Missions and Strategic Goals, as well as the accreditation principles and requirements of SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) and ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology).
