Borrowing Materials from Other Schools
Any TTU Distance Education or TTU RODP student should be able to borrow library materials from any Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) School with a TTU Student ID card. The agreement policies at other colleges and universities are explained on the Privileges at Other Libraries page.
The most convenient way to borrow materials from other Tennessee academic libraries is to apply for and obtain a Tennessee Academic Library Collaborative (TALC) card. A TALC card gives borrower privileges at all TBR libraries and University of Tennessee libraries.
- TTU Distance Education students can apply for the TALC card online and have it mailed to them by completing the TBR/UT Borrower Application Form.
- RODP students can obtain and have a TALC card sent to them through the RODP Virtual Library Website. Those policies and procedures are explained on the RODP Virtual Library's TALC Universal Borrower Library Application.
