International Residence Hall-MS Cooper

In response to TTU's growing interest in international affairs, International Student Affairs has collaborated with the Foreign Language Department, Sociology, and World Cultures and Business to bring Tech's first International Hall to fruition.

Cost per semester to reside in the International Residence Hall:

  • $1,522 for a double occupancy
  • $1,772 for a single occupancy

Our goal is to supply interested residents with the opportunity to interact in an international environment to further their academic and social development. The benefits for such an environment include but not limited to the development of an understanding of foreign cultures and value systems; interactive exposure to speakers of foreign languages; and even the chance to influence all involved with one's own cultural perspectives.

Three of Tech's most innovative programs-World Cultures and Business, the Department of Foreign Languages, and Sociology-have all welcomed a diversified residential environment. All international students, as well as students pursuing degrees in these areas, are welcome to apply to live in the International Hall, which will be located in MS Cooper's 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors. This residence hall will remain co-ed and plans to supply a foreign language lab suited for its residents. To see pictures of the room layout and general information on MS Cooper, please click here.

Some of the amenities provided in MS Cooper are study lobby, resident access to the Internet, cable, telephone service, electronic Eagle Card access, laundry facilities, ADA Access, 12-hour visitation, vending machines, and special computer lab on the 5th floor for International Residence Hall occupants.
