Why can't I compose a new message in discussions?

This issue is a problem mostly when someone is using a Mac and the Safari web browser. The pop-up blocker is chosen and therefore the compose box cannot open. Either uncheck the pop-up blocker option or use Firefox on the Mac instead. Firefox allows exceptions to the pop-up blocker where Safari does not. NOTE: This most likely is an issue with composing a new mail message also.

You can search postings by selecting the "search" icon located in the discussion nav bar next to the view: drop down menu.
