The Role Switch is a tool for instructors to view their classes in the eyes of a student. Please note that when you change your role to a student, you will not be able to take quizzes or view the gradebook. If you would like to be able to do these tasks, please email ilearn@tntech.edu to request fake student access.

To do a Role Switch, from your course homepage , locate the role switch box. Click the drag down box that says My Default Role and select Student. Your iLearn course will now reload and show you what the student sees when he/she is accessing your site. To return to instructor view, click the drag down box once again and select the My Default Role. Do NOT use any of the other roles, as you will not get a true idea of what your class looks like to students accessing your page.
