Randy Tompkins, R.N., F.P.N., Supervisor

Randy has been employed at TTU Health Services since 1980. He is a graduate of St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Knoxville, Tenn., and Meharry Medical College in Nashville. His experience is in hospital nursing, emergency room nursing, nursing administration, public health and college health.

Donald W. Tansil., M.D., University Physician

Dr. Tansil has been the supervising physician of TTU Health Services since 1974 and is also the Medical Director at the Regional Public Health Office, which is located on the campus of TTU. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He previously was a physician at Virginia Tech University and the University of Georgia Health Services. He is married and the father of a son and a daughter.

Joan Hendrix Tansil, Pharmacist

Joan is a graduate of the UT College of Pharmacy at Memphis. She has worked at TTU since October 2003 on a part-time basis. She is married and the mother of Tice Hendrix Tansil, a 1997 graduate of TTU, and Parish Ivey Tansil, a 2005 graduate of Volunteer State Community College.

Charlotte Beard, Pharmacy Technician

Charlotte has been at TTU since 2003. She is originally from Rutherford County. She has been married since 2002 to Jamie Beard, Ph.D., who is also an employee in TTU's mechanical Engineering Department.

Cynthia R. Tompkins, R.N., B.S.N., Head Nurse

Cynthia has been employed at TTU Health Services since 1993. She graduated from Tennessee Tech University's School of Nursing in 1988. Her nursing experience includes emergency room nursing, clinical nursing in physician’s office, and college health. She is married and has one child.

Scott Bilbrey, R.N.

Scott has been at TTU Health Services since 2006. He is a graduate of University of New York in 1992. Two years of experience in med/surg, ICCU-8 years, E.R. 14 years prn, PACU- 5 years and at TTU Health Service. He is married and has two children.

Phyllis T. Kilgore, L.P.N.

Phyllis has been at TTU Health Services since 1998. She graduated from Livingston Vocational School in 1983. Prior to coming to TTU she earned 10 years nursing home experience at Masters Health Care Center, two years part-time in a physicians office, and five years in home-health nursing. She is married and has four children.

Irma Mittermeier, Secretary II

Irma has been employed at TTU Health Services since 1980. She began working at TTU in the Library in 1973. She has two years of college in Business at TTU. She is married and has two children.

Randa Thompson, Secretary I

Randa started at TTU in the Registration Department in Fall ’04. She transferred to TTU Health Services in October ’05. She has a certificate in Health Information with a concentration in billing/coding. She is married and has two children.

Diane Fox , Housekeeper

Diane started at TTU Health Services on Feb. 1, 2007. She is married and has 3 children and 6 grandchildren. She resides in Bloomington Sgrings with her husband, Dennis.
