The Master of Business Administration degree at Tennessee Tech
prepares students for high-level careers in business organizations.
The course material is broad in scope for the purpose of developing
general managerial competence through extensive use of the case
method and selected use of simulations and research projects. The
program provides students with the opportunity to enhance career
opportunities by specializing in one of the following concentrations: Accounting,
Finance, General Management, International Business, Management Information Systems, and Risk Management and Insurance. Also, effective Fall 2008, a new concentration will be available in Human Resource Management.
The program is also available as a distance program. You can take campus-based courses, distance-based courses, or a combination of both.
Admission Requirements:
- Satisfactory test scores on the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT)--minimum of 450
- One letter of recommendation
- Official transcripts from your bachelor's institution and any institutions attended since that degree
- Grade Point Average on Bachelor's degree of at least 2.5
- Minimum score of 1000 on the AACSB formula:
- (GPA x 200) + GMAT
- Minimum score of 1050 if using only the last two years undergraduate GPA
