Finding Government Information at TTU

Searching by Agency, Subject, Title or Number

When searching for publications by the issuing federal agency, a subject, the title, or its number (either SuDoc number or report number), MARCIVE may be the best index to use in this Library, but it only goes back to 1976.  Once you find the publication of interest, your goal is to note the SuDoc number listed, then locate it in the Library.  Professional librarians are there to assist you.

If you have access to the Internet, you may want to use one or more of the search engines that reference government publications.  Full-text publications may either be found there, or especially for older publications, note the SuDoc number and locate the publications in the Library.

Several government publications are listed in the Library's Online Catalog.
