Outright Bequest, Unrestricted

I give, devise, and bequeath to the Tennessee Technological University Foundation, a not-for-profit educational corporation duly existing under the laws of the State of Tennessee and located in Cookeville, Tennessee, the sum of $__________dollars (or the following described property, securities, etc.), to be used as the Board of Directors of the Foundation may direct.

Bequest for Specific Purpose with Income (a) Unrestricted (b) Restricted

I give, devise, and bequeath to the Tennessee Technological University Foundation, a not-for-profit educational corporation duly existing under the laws of the State of Tennessee and located in Cookeville, Tennessee, $__________dollars (or the following described property, securities, etc.) to establish THE (name of endowment) ENDOWMENT. This endowment fund shall be kept invested by Tennessee Technological University, and the annual income therefrom shall be utilized (a) as the Board of Directors of the Foundation may direct, or (b) for (description of restricted purpose specified by testator — i.e., scholarships, faculty development, general operations, etc.).

Gift of Residuary Estate

I give, devise, and bequeath to the Tennessee Technological University Foundation, a not-for-profit educational corporation duly existing under the laws of the State of Tennessee and located in Cookeville, Tennessee, all the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, both real and personal property of whatever kind and wheresoever situated, which I may own or have the right to dispose of at the time of my death to be used as the Board of Directors of the Foundation may direct (or for other purposes specified by the testator).

Contingent Bequest

I give, devise, and bequeath to (named beneficiary) $__________dollars (or the following described property, securities, etc.), but if he/she does not survive me, then I give, devise, and bequeath the same to the Tennessee Technological University Foundation, a not-for-profit educational corporation duly existing under the laws of the State of Tennessee and located in Cookeville, Tennessee, to be used as the Board of Directors of the Foundation may direct (or for other purposes specified by the testator).

Codicil

I, (donor’s name), hereby amend my Last Will and Testament, executed on the _____day of _____, in the year_____. I direct that the provisions of that Will remain in effect, but direct in addition that the Tennessee Technological University Foundation, a not-for-profit educational corporation duly existing under the laws of the State of Tennessee and located in Cookeville, Tennessee, shall receive the sum of $__________ dollars to be used as the Board of Directors of the Foundation may direct (or for other purposes specified by the testator).
