T.E.C.H. Annual Fund
Tennessee Tech’s
annual giving program is called the T.E.C.H. Fund. The name was
derived from President Bob Bell’s vision of the university's
characteristics: Technology Leadership, Enrollment Growth, Caring
Campus and High Quality. Annual gifts by alumni, friends, parents
and students are the very foundation of Tennessee Tech University’s
continuing success as a premier academic institution. Annual gift
dollars directly benefit students, faculty/staff and alumni in the
classroom, in the research lab, on the playing field, in the library
and in the lives of those around them.
The T.E.C.H. Fund, through
the Office of Annual Giving Programs, encourages alumni, students,
parents and friends to strengthen their ties with TTU through annual
gifts, which may be designated to the area of greatest need, including
direct support of the phonathon and direct mail efforts, to scholarships,
to building programs, to specific colleges and departments, or to
whatever aspect of TTU that holds special meaning. Annual gifts
range from $5 to more than $5,000.
All gifts make a difference, because alumni participation
in the annual fund is one of the numbers the state looks at when
determining 'performance funding'. Alumni giving is also a factor
in U.S. News & World Report's ranking.
Whether through the T.E.C.H.
Fund’s Student Calling Program, direct mail renewals or online
giving, each annual gift makes a difference to everyone connected
to Tennessee Tech.
