| Matthews-Daniel Hall 80 W. Eighth Street Matthews Hall was erected in 1951 as an addition to the South Hall women's dormitory (now Daniel Hall). It currently houses the Tennessee Early Intervention System, TTU's Child Development Lab, the Tennessee Alcohol Safety Education Program, some faculty offices of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, some faculty offices of the Department of Psychology, and some psychology laboratories. Matthews Hall is named in honor of Mary Matthews Daniel, wife of Charles D. Daniel, first dean of Tennessee Tech. Map Location: 35 |

| Accessibility Information: Number of Floors: 4 Parking: Accessible parking is located on the South side of the building on East 7th Street. Entrances: The accessible entrance is located on the South side of the building. Matthews Hall and Daniel Hall are joined together. Elevators: The elevator is located in the middle of the building. The elevator accesses the 3 main floors only. Stairs: Stairs are located to the North and South sides of Matthews Hall. The stairs access all 3 main floors of the building. The storage level is reached by taking the stairs on the North side of the building to the basement level. The storage level does not have an accessible entrance. Restrooms: There are two sets of accessible restrooms in Matthews-Daniel Hall. Womens and men's restrooms are located on the North and South side of the first floor. The mens and women's restrooms on the third floor are located on the West side of the building. Rescue Assistance: There is an emergency phone located in the elevator cab. Go to Campus
