The Health and Physical Education Building was erected in 1929, with a new wing and other additions made in 1951. It features a large gymnasium with a seating capacity of 3262, a swimming pool, handball courts, two intramural gymnasia, offices, classrooms and apparatus rooms. It houses the Exercise Science, Physical Education and Wellness Department.

Parking: Accessible parking is located on the North side of the building on a concrete pad. The space is van accessible. Another accessible space is available on the South side of the building on 8th Street.

Entrances: The building has 3 accessible entrances; one is the main entrance off the Main Quadrangle, the 2nd is located on the Northeast of the building. This entrance has an automatic door opener. The 3rd entrance is on the Northwest side of the building.. The 3rd entrance only accesses the swimming pool.

Elevators: There is no elevator in this building.

Stairs: The building has seven stairwells. 2 are located on the West side of the building on each side of the swimming pool. 3 stairwells go down to the dance studio and 2 stairwells are on the east side of the building going from mid-seating area to the Aerobics room.

Restrooms: The building has 3 accessible restrooms. One is at the north end of the swimming pool area and 2 are off the front foyer in the main Gym area.

Rescue Assistance: There is an emergency phone off the side of the building at the Northwest building entrance.
