Derryberry Hall1 William L. Jones Drive Derryberry Hall houses the central administration offices, Concert Hall (an auditorium with 828 seats), Admissions, Records and Registration, Office of Institutional Research, University Development, University Advancement and Graduate Studies. It is the oldest structure on campus, erected in 1912 as the classroom and administration building for Dixie College, the forerunner of Tennessee Technological University. Accessibility Information: Number of Floors: 4 Parking: Accessible parking is in front of building on William L. Jones Drive. Entrances: There are 3 accessible entrances to building. West ground entrance, East ground entrance, and northwest ground entrance behind the building. The West entrance has an automatic door opener. Elevators: The building has one elevator located on the East end of the building. The elevator is only accessible to the 3 main floors. The elevator does not access the 4th floor. Stairs: Stairs are located on both East and West sides of the building. There is also a stairwell located on the East side of the Auditorium that accesses the 4th floor of the building. Restrooms: There are two accessible restrooms located on the 1st floor in the center of the building. Rescue Assistance: There is an Emergency phone located in the elevator cab.
