Sometimes, the possibilities are so confusing that students let their uncertainty stop them from enrolling in college. Before you choose THAT option listen to this: Tennessee Technological University knows that many students are ready for college, even when they haven't settled on a specific major. If you're not sure what you want to study or need some direction, then consider enrolling in our General Curriculum program. We recommend our General Curriculum program for entering freshmen who need some guidance in declaring a major. The program is designed to help students complete the first year of basics--courses common to every discipline offered at Tennessee Tech--while considering their specific options. When you're in the program, your courses will include mathematics, English, science, social science and/or history, and humanities. As a student in General Curriculum, you'll receive one-on-one counseling to help you select your course of study while making your career decisions. You can transfer to a chosen department at the end of any semester, or you can earn up to 60 hours of academic credit in General Curriculum before transferring. Consider your options with Tennessee Tech's General Curriculum program. The possibilities are endless. We are here to help you with the decisions you will be making concerning your future. We welcome each and everyone of you.
