Financing Education Beyond High School

Staff members in the Tennessee Tech University financial aid office have designed the following presentation. You may use it as a financial aid information presentation introducing the basic concepts of financial aid for both students and their parents. This presentation is not just for the persons considering attendance at TTU, but can be used by students, parents, and high school guidance counselors to help in the financial decision-making we all must face when considering how to pay for education after high school.

The narrative and the slides provide a basic framework within which to discuss financial aid and the many factors to think about when a family begins to plan ways of paying for education after high school. You may simply want to read through the entire presentation (pdf) accompanied by a text narrative.
