HOPE ASPIRE Award Requirements

A supplemental award of an additional $1,500 per year for any student eligible for the Tennessee HOPE scholarship with an *adjusted gross income which does not exceed $36,000.

Eligibility for this award is as follows:

• Student must be eligible for the Tennessee HOPE scholarship award

  AND

• Have an *adjusted gross income that is less than or equal to $36,000

*Adjusted gross income (AGI) – income attributable to the student, including parents’ income if student is a dependent. The adjusted gross income will be reviewed each academic year to determine continuing eligibility for this award.

A student eligible for both the need based and the General Merit Scholarship will be awarded the ASPIRE award, as it is a higher dollar value.
