Admission Information

Students seeking admission to Full Standing in the Environmental Sciences Ph.D. - Chemistry Concentration must have a Bachelor s Degree in Chemistry that has been certified by the American Chemical Society or course work equivalent to this degree. The minimum requirement is one year each of general, analytical, organic, and physical chemistry; one semester each of inorganic and instrumental analysis; and three semesters of calculus. Students may be admitted to Provisional standing at the discretion of the Departmental Graduate Policies Committee and the Departmental Chairperson.

Once admitted to the program the following general requirements must be met to successfully complete the Ph.D. Program. Each of the following is exhaustively described in The Handbook.
