| Emphasis Areas within Electrical and Computer Engineering The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department is divided into several emphasis areas related to particular technical specialties within electrical and computer engineering. The courses in each area are supervised by an Emphasis Area Group composed of professors whose work and backgrounds relate to the area. If you need information related to an emphasis area, you should contact one of the professors in the area.
